Both of our children attended HOT school for Math, English and Selective classes for a few years. They were very happy and always looking forward to their classes and importantly improved their learning. Teachers offer high quality teaching, with top ATAR backgrounds, not to mention a friendly receptionist and a principal who truly care about your children education & well being. Thank you HOT school.

it was actually fun, I had a great experience there although many people left in the end so thats why I left. The teachers were quite nice although some were hypocrites for instance my last maths teacher was a hypocrite and was always on her phone? Usually we had the ability to talk and do work at the same time but this teacher had the attitude to just yell at us? The booklets also had quite a lot of mistakes in there so it made some parents think bad and negative of the school. On the positive side again, I really enjoyed tutoring and I highly recommend going!

Hi there, thank you for your review. I'm glad to hear that you had a great experience and enjoyed tutoring with us. However, I am extremely surprised to hear that you did not have an enjoyable experience with a certain staff member. We only recently took over the business last year, but we (like the previous owner) have maintained strict policies on using mobile phones only for emergencies or educational purposes, and speaking to students respectfully and professionally is something we pride ourselves on. This is the first time we've heard about this, so if these events did occur, we apologise, but rest assured, it is definitely not happening now, nor going to happen in the future.

Highly recommend as the teachers are make the classes fun and kids would never get bored. As parents we are also recommend because of the study matriel is quite advanced and acceptable by kids～

Experience with this place was not good. Was searching for a tutoring place and was put off by this one as the receptionist was quite rude unfortunately. Was not willing to discuss courses and options and was very dismissive. Edit: Hi, sorry so much for the late reply. Regarding your response, as memory serves, there was definitely someone at the front desk who was not the principal and my details perhaps would have been collected if it were not for the poor attitude that was shown. However, since my children are now being helped greatly by another organisation in the area, we are all quite happy. I am willing to chalk this up to one bad day your staff might have been having. All the best with your students, I really know how the right guidance can support a child's confidence and capabilities. - Bob

Being a small business, we do not have a receptionist and dedicate the majority of our time to supporting our students. Hence, our Principal personally talks to everyone who walks through the door. The only time she would be unable to answer your questions would be if she were in the middle of teaching a class; as helping our students is our first priority. In this situation, your details would have been collected, so we could contact you at a suitable time; to give you the time you deserve. We have no record of a Bob Smith attending our service; however implore you to call, email us, or make an appointment to drop-in. We would love to answer your questions and tell you about our programs, as there is nothing we are more passionate about! Hope to see you soon.

My daughter attended the Selective/Scholarship weekly classes at HOT school for about a year prior to sitting the Selective High School test in March 2018. I noticed a continuous improvement in her problem solving and time management skills as she progressed through the course. Her self-confidence has also improved significantly. I think all these qualities are valuable not only for the Selective test but also for her schooling well beyond the test. I like the fact that my daughter did a lot more than just test practices at HOT school. Endless test practices without real understanding wouldn't be of much benefit to her. After the selective test, she was quietly confident that she had done well. Sure enough, she has now been offered a place at Hornsby Girls High School, which was her first choice. Thanks to Katherine & all the teachers at HOT school! My son, who’s in year 3, has also been attending the English-Writing class at HOT School. I’ve noticed an improvement in his performance in school, which is very reassuring. I recommend HOT School to friends without hesitation. Ros

My kids have enrolled in HOT school for 3-4yrs now. They love it. It has great and friendly teachers, great teaching materials and it's in a convinient location for us. All the teachers that my kids had, and currently with, have always provided great support in my children's learning. My kids were able to connect well with their teachers, and as a result they enjoy learning and are doing well at school. HOT school principal, Miss Katherine, have always been supportive and accommodating. She is a fantastic teacher and very attentive to all the children. It is great to see how HOT school has grown to be bigger and better each year.

Our daughter has been attending Hot school on a regular basis over the past 5 years to fill academic gaps that unfortunately her schools have been unable to address as part of their management of the curriculum. The small learning group environment works well for her and also provides a concentrated focus on learning outcomes and results that she doesn’t get at school. Wouldn’t be without this learning experience in the lead up to naplan testing! Thank you to the team at Hot school for building our daughter’s confidence and abilities.

Teachers are great and supportive and make learning very easy. They give one O one attention to each and every child .My son loves this place and always keen to go for studies.highly recommended
