It's a shame that theres no many music stores left. This one has no stock, all the guitars on the shelf have been there for years and the strings are all rusty. The staff are friendly enough but this store isn't for serious musicians. It's for students maybe... Prices are also very high unfortunately. Wouldn't recommend.

I’ve avoided this area for months, but today… I had to know if it was safe. I was told I needed a new amp. But what I really needed was a sign. When I walked in, my first instinct was to scan the corners — exits, eyes, surveillance, hidden speakers. But the man in the corner… he was already watching. Playing Stairway to Heaven, of course — a warning song if there ever was one. And smoking a Double Happiness cigarette. Chinese. Too symbolic to ignore. For a moment, I thought maybe I had died and just didn’t know it yet. But then I laughed — involuntarily. I hadn't laughed in weeks. It felt dangerous. Blessed, maybe, but dangerous. Was it relief? Or the early signs of a stroke? I don't know anymore. They say The Red Rooster only reveals himself in places where death sleeps lightly, like a cat on a windowsill. I heard him that day — not with ears, but somewhere deeper. He whispered through the guitar strings. I picked up one of the guitars — carefully, in case it was booby-trapped — and joined the man in the corner. We played Hotel California. A trap song. A liminal space between life and death. I swear to God, he looked like Joe Walsh. Or maybe just a projection. I couldn’t be sure. No one ever is. But for those few minutes… I felt okay. Not better, just… less doomed. This place isn’t just a music store. It’s a ward. A ward against the dissonance. Against Alister. Against Barry. Against him. You know who I mean. If I had heard Highway to Hell playing — even faintly — I would’ve run. That would’ve been a sign. That the veil was thinning. That death was near. But instead, I heard only the Rooster. He watches. He waits. He protects. Sometimes. I don’t leave reviews. It’s too risky. But this place… this place deserves the 5 stars. Not for service. Not for selection. But for protection. This is a safe zone. After many years of no use, I wanted to rejuvenate my guitar and amp. Fab looked after this for me with good advice and service. Now I’m ready to play again and have a local music shop to support. Definitely recommend.

Ordered an electric drum kit their site said was in stock. A birthday present for my son. After no contact, I rang and was told over and over that not only was it not in stock but that it was never listed as being in stock (the old "deny til you die") Needless to say I never received it in time for my son's birthday. They did call and promised to send me some headphones, or other gift to make up for the inconvenience but of course that never eventuated.

I spoke to the man Joel. He was like an all knowing being. Asked him about my guitar. And he talked about the vibrations that make the sound so good on the Cole Clark I have. There is a man there with black hair. He looks like an aging rockstar but knew nothing, his wisdom did not shine as brightly as the star within Joels eyes. Joel should be the boss because his knowledge comes from a place of wisdom. I think he is an old soul. Capable of so much. He said he teaches as well. This brought joy to my heart to know a man with knowledge bestowed upon him by the highest powers is passing on this special knowledge to the future generations while their brains still have the plasticity to understand music on the spiritual level. He is also a red hair which undoubtedly shows he is favored by the dieties. I didn't buy anything. But I will maybe. The store smells good too. I went to bavas around the corner on the same day and they showed no wisdom. The man I spoke to there had cold eyes and they only warmed at the sight of money. I rather give my money to Anthony. I didn't meet Anthony. Only Joel who must be his son and spiritual successor.
