The centre wasn’t as crowded as the Parramatta location. The exam started about 10 minutes late, and there were no noise‑cancelling measures, so you could clearly hear other test‑takers. There was also an interruption with the headphones during the test.

I took my PTE exam at this centre on 13 November, and unfortunately I had a serious technical issue during the Retell Lecture section. The audio kept cutting in and out, and I completely missed that task because of it. I immediately raised my hand and reported the issue to the test administrator — an older East Asian gentleman with glasses. I specifically asked him to log the problem, so I could follow up with PTE. I also emailed the same day and reported everything in writing. Because of the stress and the time lost dealing with this problem, I was unable to focus properly afterwards, and it affected my performance in the following tasks as well. After more than a month, PTE told me that I need to pay for a review, and then said that my exam “had no technical issues” and that my score wouldn’t change. This was extremely disappointing, especially because the issue was real, it affected my performance, and I reported it during the test and afterwards. I am sharing my experience here so others are aware: PTE does not take responsibility for technical problems, even when reported properly, and the process ends up costing more money without any real support. I hope this helps future test-takers make an informed decision.

both in size and in what it offers. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel the scale of a world-class university. The campus is huge and beautifully designed, with plenty of greenery, modern buildings, and well-equipped facilities. Because it’s so big, it can feel a little overwhelming at first, and without a proper map or guidance you could easily get lost. But once you get familiar with the layout, you start appreciating how everything is well connected and thoughtfully organized. The university also offers a vibrant environment, bringing together students from all over the world, which makes it diverse and dynamic. The learning resources, libraries, and support services are excellent, and the atmosphere encourages both academic focus and social engagement. Overall, Macquarie University combines the experience of a large international university with the beauty of an open, green campus. It’s a place where you can grow, learn, and explore, though it’s always a good idea to keep a campus map handy in your first few weeks!

It is a really good experience for me as i struggled with my desired score. I gave lots of exams to get my desired score. Finally, i got it by giving exam here in the first attempt and the environment was really good and the security checkup lady was really good and she explained everything very quickly. I really like that place

If I could give 1 star I would have given it. Disgusting test centre and irresponsible administration. I booked my PTE test and I drove 2 hours just to reach the location and took a day off from work, just to find out after waiting outside for one hour that there’s no staff available and all of 20 people who had test were just standing there like idiot. No cancellation notice, no update, they just didn’t give a damn about us. We just found out on our own by calling the Pearson’s customer care. Moreover, the worst part is they also left us hanging saying you can go home and we will look into this matter, and after countless calls and emails for one week they said they can cancel the test and will refund the amount. Then I had to reschedule and got the date of 3 weeks later, so in total wasted my 1 month because of their extremely poor administration.

“This is the worst test center you could possibly take an exam in. The room is not acoustic at all — you can clearly hear students talking outside, and the voices of others taking the exam echo around the room. It seriously affects the speaking section.

If I could give a zero star I would. The mic picks up other candidates speaking as it records (you will observe this as the 3 seconds rule for PTE does not work in the center, meaning other voices are recording into yours). Given speaking affects listening and reading score in PTE tests, your result will be significantly affected. Particularly if you writing score is way too different from others. DO NOT USE THIS CENTER FOR PTE !!!

The place is nice. There are about 10 of us during the exam. Expect all to be loud during exam especially on speaking section. The computer, headphone, and mouse are decent ... not the best but good enough... I just wish everyone can do one sit apart .. but overall good Just like my score, GOOD 😁

Yesterday i went there for my PTE exam. I thought its near my home and new centre. Everything must be new for exam such as headphones, keyboard, mouse everything. 1. Our exam was suppose to start 1:00pm, but it started 1:30 and the reason why? Because they were calling students who dint reach for exam, they were waiting for that students. 2. Headphones: For speaking headphones are too old or cheap quality, it dint recognise your voice. 2 times i gave PTE exam before in parramatta i got 89 and 90 in speaking. Here after 1 month practice i got 52, which i dint even expect. Because of speaking automatically my all module marks went low. 3. Very small cabin. The space they give it to you is very small. All students sitting in one room and very close, we can hear each and everyone's voice. Others centres are not like that. They have good space and updated things. Since I received my score i am so disappointed and devastated. I wasted my money as well as my hard work. Now again i need to book my exam and again spend $400. P.S:- If you guys really want to pass your exam or you are waiting for you 8 each band. Please don't give exam in this centre. You will not even achieve 5 bands here. Please give your exam in parramatta or in city. Strictly don't go in this centre. Your will waste your money.
