Honestly it’s nice and all it’s just the courses are too easy. And I don’t want to be a wine grower or a turf manager. Scenery is nice though :D

I’ve just come for a much needed break from technology and thought I’d see the Beautiful grounds at the northern Sydney Institute of TAFE at Ryde it is absolutely beautiful the grounds and the buildings and the way it’s laid out is absolutely spectacular there are birds and wildlife and it’s just absolutely like a world of it’s own here and I’m having a really nice time just driving around so if anyone knows if the nurseries ever open to the public please reply and if you get a chance come and check it out or even better still take a course and hold of cultural cold and cooking courses it’s just gorgeous down here

I finished my course a while ago, commercial cookery II. I learned essential skills that help me with my daily life, learning different methods of cookery, trying different flavours and understanding what flavours mesh well with others as well as learning organisational skills which have helped me in other areas of my life. I had the best experience and I want to credit that to chef Colm Kennedy. Months later I still think about the kindness he extended to me and the rest of my class, he made my learning experience so enjoyable - coming to class 2 days a week for a year on top of a busy schedule was overwhelming, sometimes I didn’t want to be there - feeling that way and still coming into class he picked up on that and motivated and inspired me to keep going. He really recognises his students, he made a real effort to know all of us and checked up us always, consistently through the class. He is the perfect example of what a great teacher is. He is funny, supportive, encouraging and so patient, even when things got seriously overwhelming as it does in a kitchen, he always kept the calm and kept the kitchen moving smoothly. His experience and expertise in the cooking industry is top notch. He has a real passion for what he does and that really shows in his work. I’m so happy to have had the experience that I did :) - Tahani

Most Teachers are pretty useless, Never reply to emails or get back in contact with you Seem like it’s to hard basket when you simply want your work marked or even just a reply. A few teachers we great and happy to help but majority Didn’t seem to care

Recently enrolled in environmental and sustainability course and the teacher (Erica) is amazing. Knowledgeable and engaging with practical materials. TAFE will replace universities in near future.

A great place to learn baking. I joined their 2 days Essential Baking & Finishing Skills course. Instructor was very good and explained each step clearly. If you want to learn baking and cake decoration, I highly recommend their short courses.

Tafe is fantastic good staff and is involved in training youth in all sorts of useful trades. Google Maps take you to wrong entrance on busy road carpark entry on opposite side
