Our two boys have been homeschooling with ACHS since Jan 2019. Our eldest began year 7, whilst our youngest began his grade 5 year. Our journey with the school has been excellent, I personally found the on-boarding process easy and informative. I took the time to learn the process that the school gave me ... my supervisor training mirrored the way the kids do their schooling so that I had a good understanding from a student's perspective. We did join the school, not merely purchasing the curriculum only, as this allowed us a) full access to the teachers if needed, and b) Year 10 - 12 certificates should our boys seek tertiary education. Whenever I've called the office, I've ALWAYS found the staff or teachers friendly and helpful, even recently when we approached the school for assistance for our 2 teens with choosing suitable subjects for their chosen career paths. The website is easy to use and has the necessary downloadable resources to run the homeschooling program, ordering new 'paces' is easy. We are in our 7th year with ACHS and personally, I have found the experience to be fantastic and I wholeheartedly recommend the school and curriculum.

I ended up withdrawing my daughter's enrolment from this "school". This homeschool takes a lot of time trying to understand the process by yourself as it's very hard to get help from them. They never answer my emails until I sent 2 or 3 follow up.ones. whenever I rang I would get their rude Receptionist or message bank. When I enrolled they said they would be able to accommodate my child who is on the spectrum. Not true, they expected her to work through all of the paces with zero support. Everytime i actually got through to someone. It would be a different person each time and they would have no idea what i was talking about. It was like trying to contact centerlink. I wondered what I was exactly paying for with the monthly fees. (You pay for all your curriculum separately which you the parent have to organise). As they seem not to do anything, not even answer the phone or emails. The curriculum is outdated and confusing. My daughter is now enrolled with distance ed and it's so much better.

Once it's set up was easy to follow through. At the beginning it takes time with testing, receiving resources, etc. But once the initial stage is passed everything is easy.

Great team, great help. 2 months in with our 6yr old Son and I couldn't be happier with the cirriculum and follow up we receive.

Horrendous customer service. I phoned to seek guidance on the registration process based on this curriculum and was met with zero willingness to help or provide any kind of assistance. Young male was utterly disinterested in answering questions and bluntly informed me I would receive no help without spending close to $300 for membership with no option to trial the curriculum to see if it is right for us as a family just beginning our home schooling journey. Incredibly disappointing from a supposedly Christian organisation.
