It is an old building but with up to date technology in its lecture theatre. The museum is amazing with a fascinating collection. There are artefacts, photos and information about Douglas Mawson himself as well. The toilet facilities weren't too bad, there are disabled facilities which are also an all-gender bathroom. It was necessary to up some stairs to get in and looks like it is difficult to enter if you are in a wheelchair. There seemed to be a lift but not sure how easy it would be to operate.

Old building, museum has a well maintained collection of minerals, fossils and rocks. Some particularly rare specimens are held here. Modernised teaching facilities and a world class geochemistry lab.

It's an alright building, has a lab/old hall vibe. It seems the museum lights have been updated so there's something?

It's gone downhill after Mawson left.
