We’re very new at Sweeney swim school, we’re 4 classes in with our 8 mth old baby girl - immediately the consistent friendly staff across the board has been great. Kristy especially is so lovely. They’re super accommodating, make things easy for you and just a delight. Importantly, the teachers are brilliant with our daughter, it’s clear they love working with children and swimming lessons are extremely important for the future safety of our baby.

I’ve been coming to Sweeney Swims for over four years, and I can’t recommend it enough. The pool is always spotless, and the staff are absolutely incredible. Kristy, the owner, is such a friendly and helpful person she makes you feel so welcome from the moment you arrive. I love the sense of community here. My son really enjoys his sessions, and we both look forward to coming every Wednesday. I also love that the pool is just for kids, which makes it feel safe and comfortable. The waiting area is spacious, so it’s easy to relax while you wait for your child to finish their lesson.

After reading the reviews I thought I would give this place a try even tho it looked very run down and aged. I attended 4 classes with my little one and honestly wasn't sure if it was me or this was how toddler swim classes are ran, Emma was very vague with her method of teaching all I was doing was walking my toddler up and down the pool as requested by her. I tried another swim school and wow what a differnce they interact with the kids there's a sturture to the class which gets all the kids involved as well as one on one experience. The only good thing about this place was kristie.

I went to Sweeney’s as a kid, and now my child loves his lessons there! The instructors are amazing, and the environment is so welcoming. It’s great to see my child enjoying learning to swim just like I did. Highly recommend! A huge shout out to his favourite instructor, Reef who is so wonderful, patient and my child looks forward to his lesson every week. Thank you 😊

We love swimming at Sweeneys!! We have been attending lessons for 3 years with my 3 year old twins! They have come a long way since little babies in the pool, to now swimming with no floaty! The classes have been great. All of the instructors are professional and friendly. The owners Kristy and Troy are a pleasure to deal with and have created a great environment! 🤍

Sweeny’s swim school is great! It’s such a personal experience where your child not only has their name remembered but also their swimming abilities catered for and nurtured. Definitely recommend!

Live locally. Have had my daughter come here since was 3ish and she's now turning 7. An excellent part of her weekly routine. Was challenging to get her into the pool at first but all the staff here are so patient and lovely. We love everyone the equally, but Tyra more equally 😁

The recent upgrades at Sweeney’s have made such a difference! We love the online booking system so we can reschedule classes if the kids are sick (so often in Winter!) or if you know you’re going to be away. No need to call or go in, just change it online! The family change pods are also great if you need to change multiple kiddies and can have the privacy of your own little cubicle. We’ve found other swim schools a bit overwhelming for our little one, but the smaller facility means the noise isn’t such a big factor and the teachers can give more 1:1 support. It’s also great to know the owners have a wealth of experience and every family is known.

Our kids came across from another swim school and we could not have been happier. They learnt and improved so much, always had a great time as the staff are all super engaged and caring. Family feel which is wonderful.

Really great environment, taking into account my sons hearing loss. I like watching how much he improves each lesson. Also very kind understanding owners, staff and instructors. I prefer this swim school to the previous one he gets much more one on one time and trusts the instructors. Recommend for sure.
