We are incredibly impressed with Cornish. The admissions team and Karen in particular are incredible at managing expectations and process whilst being kind and respectful. Our daughter has learning difficulties and autism. This wasn't held against her at all and in fact the process included the inclusions team ensuring they could support her. She is thriving at Cornish and we are excited about our son starting and how he will thrive with the learning approach. A wonderful school we are proud to be a part of it's community.

From the parent of former Prep-Year 12 students. Both my children attended Cornish, and looking back I should have taken them out earlier instead of trying to stick with it. It is not a bad school, but it is not first class either and this is where the problem lies. For the cost, it’s no more than a public school education on 100 acres. I do not think the size of the land and the fact it is “out east” justifies the fees. The teachers ranged from seemingly “nothing better to do than teach” to amazing but mostly mediocre and in between. I didn’t feel like the school had a “stand out” area of expertise like Sports, Arts, Tech or Science. Again just mediocre - which is fine but not when you’re paying on average $15,000 a year! Another review states the glaring difference between Primary and Secondary within the school and it’s correct. My children loved the primary school days but once they got to secondary felt creatively stifled and bored. What had seemed progressive and amazing became cookie cutter and one size fits all. But by this stage they have friends and social groups formed. I would recommend anyone considering Cornish to really think about the reviews and don’t get sucked in by the talk about all the “outdoors” as it’s gone by end of primary. Consider a public school nearby and put the fees into savings for your kids.

Lady in applications office quite rude We applied well over 2 years ago and kept trying to get updated after being told 2 years ago - apply it’s a short wait list ?????? Every 4 months I would just touch base and was shot down for asking . Get your stuff together . If people are wanting to apply for the school, be grateful and encouraging . We no longer kept our application at this school and judging by the comments , we can see why !!

Our daughter, could not be happier at Cornish, we moved her from Haileybury in year 5 and have never looked back. The approach to learning is collaborative and empowering, we love it would urge anyone looking for a great community for your child to learn in to consider Cornish College.

My Son chose this school and we are so pleased he did! Young people have space to run, play and breath in an environment of native bush. The culture of academic excellence without risking mental health is refreshing. Highly recommend!

A truly sensational and transformative educational experience. Our kids have blossomed in an environment where not only have their specific academic needs been catered for, through both acceleration and remediation learning programs for their specific needs, but importantly the teaching staff absolutely embody the principal of ‘caring for the whole child’. The kids learn about their role in making a difference in their society, environment and for themselves - as well as awareness of the influences and benefits or technology. And with Cornish’s natural environment which has a lake, golf course and working farm on campus - they have the space they need to become the person they dream they can be.

I moved my 3 daughters to Cornish this year. They have never been happier. They love the outdoor environment and the teachers, students and families. To have 3 out of 3 children happy and thriving says something to me.

I would highly advise not sending your children here. The place is a mess, there’s mud everywhere, the facilities are terrible and the level of education is definitely not the standard of a private school, let alone a decent public school. There is little to no enjoyment your child will experience here unless they develop some good friends, and overall I would never send my kids here again

Cornish is a Superb little school!!! I had the pleasure of teaching there in Term 2, 2013. The Principal, Kerry is a man of true integrity who cares for his students and staff. All the teachers are terrific and dedicated to their profession. You won't find a better school for your child to blossom!!!! Yvonne Smith 9.7.2013.
