My son has been having piano lessons for the past 3 years with Fajoah Music School. Jono has ignited a passion for classical piano that my son never knew he had! If you’re looking for a teacher who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely passionate about helping their students succeed, I highly recommend Fajoah Music School!

Fajoah music school provides really excellent, versatile and inspiring lessons for students of all ages and abilities. I studied there for several years as an adult while my young daughter also learnt up to AMEB grade 2, and I got to grade 6, and I got to learn those pieces I was really excited by. Jono is a dedicated teacher as well as a highly talented pianist, and his end of semester concerts provide a target for students to work towards and an opportunity for friends and family to hear students perform. My daughter stopped at grade 2 only to return to Fajoah some years later and complete VCE music and learn some really challenging pieces. Now my youngest child has just started with Jono and is pursuing grade 8 pieces in his second year at Fajoah. I can't recommend highly enough!

Fajoah Music school is an exceptional school introducing students to music. Our daughter has learnt piano from Jonathon Cannon since early primary school all the way through to VCE music. Jonathon is a highly skilled and talented pianist and such a naturally attentive and encouraging teacher. Watching the way he has nurtured a love of music and taught our daughter so much over this time is testament to his own commitment and musicality. The teacher student relationship that they have formed over the years is one of mutual respect, and has been integral to our daughters growth as a person and a musician, and has been a joy to witness. The twice yearly recitals are a highlight. We highly recommend Jonathon and Fajoah Music School.

Highly recommend Fajoah Music School for highly skilled music teachers. They are not only accomplished musicians but know how to teach. Our 3 children, with varied tastes, including classical and popular music, have all benefited from their lessons over the past 5 years.

Highly recommend. Both of the students in our family have enjoyed years of tuition and encouragement. The Fajoah school concerts are a highlight too! Incredible talent on show.

Not only is Jono a high-level expert in music and piano, but he is a kind, enthusiastic and motivating teacher. I’m always touched at how much he considers and researches new ideas and concepts to help me overcome my blockages to learning and practice. His personalized approach to each and every one of his students is thoughtful, patient and inspiring.

My kids have been learning piano here for years. They love being able to select which pieces of music they work on, and also being able to switch focus from learning with a view to passing an exam or simply learning for their own pleasure. The teaching has always been great - the right mix of patience and gentle reminders of the need to practice. Highly recommended.
