Due to health reasons I was forced to make a very quick transition, moving to the the suburbs and having to find a new school to enrol my daughter in . As a mental health clinician I have dealt with with many schools/teachers/ Principals and looked at most schools in the area to determine which one fits my daughter's needs. St Mary Magdalen has been an absolute blessing, and my daughter has been embraced with warmth, showered with kindness and has a sense of belonging and being cared for in this beautiful school community. The teachers have a heart centred approach to learning and really provide the felt sense of relational safety, which is essential to ensure children have the foundation to learn and thrive academically. A bonus, is that the classes are smaller than your average school , and the children naturally recieve more direct learning opportunities from teachers. Although this school is Catholic, it embraces all faiths and religions and really has a sense of community, cultural inclusivity and is service oriented . My family is not Catholic, however I'm so happy to have chosen this school. The felt sense transcends across to all families who belong to this school community, and who greet each other every morning with warmth and love. The principal and school leaders are also so kind, humble and have made my daughter feel seen and cared for .If you are new to to the area, or needing to change schools, I absolutely recommend this beautiful school .

Beautiful school and lovely teachers, my nephew and niece both study here and they enjoy their life at school. Teachers are lovely, supportive and are giving great attention to each of the students.

SMM is a beautiful school. The teachers are incredibly kind. The other kids are lovely and my daughter has formed wonderful friendships across the school. The learning experience is also very strong with my daughter is excelling academically. I highly recommend this school!

I have no regrets to choose this school for my boy. Very good student teacher ratio. Teachers are very kind and supportive. My boy is eager to go to school every morning!

During the recent government COVID-19 requirements to remote school our prep I couldn't have been happier that we chose for our son to go to SMM. Our son's teacher (and the whole support team and principle) couldn't be faulted given the short time frame they were given to change the way they teach. I'd recommend anyone to the school who is looking at primary schools in the area. Their latest NAPLAN results were also very impressive.
