Do not enroll! After completing the barbering course and upon issuing the certificate, they FALSELY claim you have not attended most of the sessions, and you are required to PAY AGAIN and retake the "missed sessions." This is a deceptive tactic to extort more money. They hold certificate hostage. Even some of their staff members admit it!

To all of the Student those who wanna enroll at the Cremorne for Cert3 at barbering. Don’t go there you just waste your time and your money because the teachers are unprofessional and do not supportive, They never mark off the student and never attend to the class regularly after finish your course for barbering you will never learn anything, teacher and manager are so rude they always looking for money they don’t care about the students.

I don’t know about the education level in this place but please NEVER EVER park your electric car here to get charged. There wasn’t any clear signs saying that when you are getting charge, you still need to pay for the parking fees. Just got a fine ticket recently and would never ever come back again!!!

I highly recommend every kangan institute, but Richmond's institute is one of the best,with its environment, multicultural, tbh words aren't enough to decribe it, getting them rewards every year is not enough, I really appreciate everything and everyone, specially ms.hilda :)

From what I've heard is that I thought that this place had closed down here but no it has been merely "modernized" with it's old architecture as well?! This place used to be called Kangan "Batman" Tafe?! Not sure of that meaning behind there but it's gone now. I used to roll around here sporadically from 1999 to 2007 due to dubious government incentives here...When I was here the place was quite quiet and deserted but that's probably changed now, however they always made me feel welcome the times I was in and out of here. They had a great cafeteria as well with good prices via food stuffs. Bear in mind my review is based on the old system/buildings from the late 90's into the early/mid 2000's but I feel my review is still relevant here even though it's all most likely has changed a lot from back then though. I hope better things for this place and I hope it continues to survive because for a while it'd seemed it wouldn't cheers....

Had the pleasure of a free haircut by Dylan Jones 10:30am 03/12/20. Awesome service and communication top notch. Highly recommended. Sent my mate to get his done too. 5* rating

It's not the best in all honesty, coming from someone who did vcal intermediate there. From my experience the teachers I had were VERY unprofessional. One barely attended. Tasks given out were scrapped on some occasions and the work quality given out was very dull. Was a real drag for people who were passionate for their education. The people who attend are generally quite nice on the bright side.

KANGAN IS ONE OF MELBOURNE'S BETTER VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROVIDERS TAFE institutions in Melbourne have a variable reputation depending on whether they are state owned or private, the degree to which they are connected with industry and the quality of their teaching. Kangan has a good reputation and offers a range of courses and is a good option for articulating into a university bachelor degree
