AMES Australia Dandenong is a helpful and welcoming centre for new migrants and job seekers. The staff are friendly, patient, and genuinely committed to supporting people with language classes, employment programs, and settlement services. Their English courses are well-structured, and teachers explain everything clearly, making learning easier for beginners. The centre also provides guidance on resumes, job applications, and interview skills, which is very useful for those new to Australia’s workforce. The environment feels safe and supportive, and appointments are usually well-organised. Although the waiting times can sometimes be a bit long, the overall support and professionalism make it a great place for learning and settling in.

This organisation offers free English classes and Settlement help to the adult migrants in Australia. Initially, they take test of your English and accordingly suggest you to join the level of English that you need to opt for. Teachers are well prepared. Most of the students enrolled in the Dandenong Hub are from Afghan Background.

Ames Dandenong office you are supposed to be there to assist migrants and refugees to settle in their new country, however what you guys are doing is the opposite. The staff me and my brother dealt with is disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and not willing to help at all. Hung up a phone on me and my brother multiple times. I have raised this issue once to the manager, but nothing happened. I tried to call again, I was told that the manager doesn't receive phone calls. We felt unwelcome!!! .Disappointed !!!!

AMES is a multicultural organisation for migrants, refugees and Asylum seekers and mostly people belong from different countries and different cultures so, should be the staff become kind, respecter and helpful but the lady was so rude and discriminating. Yesterday was my second visit and so annoying. I never want to go there for ever.
