There’s a reason this kinder is currently rated as ‘Exceeding’ for the National Quality Framework standard system, and is going for the top rated ‘Excellent’ this year. Incredible kinder run by amazing educators and volunteer parents. Highly regarded by everyone in the community locally!

If I could give Elonera a zero star I would, that's how bad of a kinder they are especially their director Hema.Hema is one of the most unprofessional, disrespectful and heartless teachers that exists.Her level of empathy, and kindness towards children and families is zero.The ill treatment that she demonstrated towards my son(Her student), myself and my very sick partner is appalling.The way she looked at me with their daggered eyes, Hema and her 2 co-educators, Kate and Kate, the way they shamed me as a working mother, the way they left my son in the wet weather outside, and the way they all abruptly spoke to me it's something that no parent or mother should ever experience.What made it worst, was when dealing with the kinder president Kristy Cottrell.She also showed zero empathy, consideration towards our family and the ill treatment we faced from Hema and she did not hold her accountable for her appalling actions and her lack of professionalism. I'm a teacher myself and I will never trust such heartless teacher and kinder president again with teaching little children or with families who seek guidance, support and positive relationships.They are the most unkind, unempathetic, unprofessional humans you will come across in the educational industry.I have never come across such ill treatment before as a parent who has been through all educational stages with my previous child.They are absolute shockers.In my honest opinion Hema should not be a teacher.Parents walk in that kinder like they are on egg shels all because of Hema.She runs the kinder like a cult not like a community kinder.They will also try to silence any parent who gets the ill treatment like I did and they will show zero empathy towards the family or the child starting from the director Hema all the way to the president Kristy Cottrell.The most unprofessional, unempathetic human beings that you will ever come across in the educational industry.Absolute shockers.

We are sorry you feel this way, however we strongly reject the claims made.<br><br>All staff and Committee members have acted in accordance with our policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, including supporting your family with flexibility within appropriate and permissible limits.<br><br>At no point was the child left unattended or placed at risk. Outdoor play is a supervised and valued part of our program and, in this instance, was initiated by the child. Though we value wet weather play, it wasn't wet on this particular occasion.<br><br>The expectations placed on the service extended beyond what can be provided within our responsibilities.<br><br>Elonera maintains a zero tolerance for behaviour that compromises the safety and respect of our staff.<br>

We couldn't speak more highly of Elonera, it is such a special place. Our children have thrived there and the educators prepare the kids so well for school, while still maintaining a focus on play based learning. The educators are experienced, professional, passionate and kind. It is a joy to see how happy our kids have been here and the community connections we have made as parents have been really special, and have continued through to school. There are lots of social opportunities throughout the year for both the grown ups and kids, and plenty of opportunities to volunteer, as this is a completely community run kinder with the exception of the educators.

Elonera is run by a passionate, engaged and professional team that takes early years development seriously and has created a special place that is unique and tailored to the needs of every child. My daughter has special needs and it is unlikely that she would have developed and been able to meet the challenge of primary school without their dedicated support. Their risk managed play and bushkinder programmes really develop curiosity and challenge young minds in a safe and supportive environment while also showing great empathy, I would highly recommend them.

As a former teacher who sent their eldest daughter to Elonera, it's an absolutely incredible kinder. The community spirit, amazing teachers and friendly parents, make it a wonderful place to send your kids. All the staff are incredibly attentive and thoughtful with the children, I couldn't have hoped for a better place for my kids to start their schooling experience. Thank you Elonera!

Elonera is one of the most special places on earth. Here, not only will your cherubs thrive, but you’ll be welcomed into a community of wonderful and fun people who will make friends for life. I’m two years into what will be a 4 year journey at Elonera and I’m already dreading leaving once my youngest heads off to school. The education, love, support and fun that the kids receive at this beautiful kinder is a credit to Hema and her INCREDIBLE team of educators. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here.

What a special place. We were lucky to spend two beautiful years at Elonera, and the kids still relish in so many of the details and special connections they made. The staff are so creative, caring and thoughtful. And they go above and beyond to make a nurturing environment for kids to thrive. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

If you live in the area, put Elonera for your first preference! Your child will blossom here. My little guy screamed each day getting dropped off to childcare, but since his first day at Elonera he has been happy and doesn’t even look back when I drop him off. I have also seen first hand how they live the values of inclusion. They will go above and beyond to support your child and their individual needs. My children, and I, have made lifelong friendships here.

I highly recommend Elonera Pre School. Both of my children attended 3 & 4 year old Kindy between 2018-2023 and we couldn't be happier with the education that they received. The teachers are so passionate about their job and the kids loved them so much. We will miss the Elonera Community.

Elonera is one of those special places only a few of us are lucky to find so early in our children’s educational journey. All three of my children have thrived and loved their time here and we all feel so lucky to have been a part of such a beautiful community, with the best interests of every child at the heart of every decision.
