I haven’t been to this school but have read reviews after hearing the school has a bad reputation. I will not consider this Islamic school anymore simply because of the MANY bad reviews about haram things going on, immorality and allegations of abuse by teacher toward students. I hope the school invests in changing the leadership and committing to the Islamic values.

Minaret Islamic School is exceptional, and the negative reviews do not accurately reflect the true quality of this institution. The school is dedicated to providing the best resources for its students, especially those in Year 11 and Year 12. I highly recommend Minaret Islamic School to any parent who wants their children to learn Islamic values and excel academically. No other Islamic school invests as much in top-notch resources for its students. Additionally, Minaret Islamic School offers time for students to pray both Zuhr and Asr prayers inside their beautiful mosque built for the students community. Many of the negative reviews come from frustrated parents who struggle to discipline their own children and therefore blame the school for necessary disciplinary actions such as suspensions or expulsions. Parents, before writing a negative review out of anger, please do not blame the school or criticize teachers who are simply doing their jobs. It might be worth reflecting on your parenting skills, as they may have contributed to your children facing consequences and not excelling.

My son is in Grade 2 at Minaret College, and I am personally very satisfied with our experience. While it’s true that every school has its challenges, it’s not fair to single out one issue and give a bad review based on that alone. Minaret College offers a well-rounded education with a strong emphasis on Islamic values, which is important to our family. I would recommend Minaret College to anyone who prioritizes an environment that fosters both academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Very disappointed with the new environment at this school. My kids have supported this school when Mr Hassan (may Allah SWT give him peace and grant him jana) was running the school. When he passed away the school has been run by some people who does not care about the Muslim values and ethics. Now all they care about image. The image that how someone from outside will judge the school. They have forgotten the main issue. EDUCATION. Looking after disadvantaged kids, helping new arrivals to streamline with other students. The teachers keep changing and students have more free days then ever. Please think hard in enrolling your kids at this school. I have had more than 18 years experience at this school. I will never recommend this school to any kids. The Muslim ethics are gone or disappearing very fast and turning more in to mainstream schooling. I have taken my son out of this school and enrolled him into one of the state school. AlhamdelAllah he is extremely happy with his new school. Please think twice before enrolling your loved ones into this toxic environment.

this school is a pathetic excuse of an islamic environment. Horrible ethics, horrible morals, horrible teachers. I send my child to this school expecting a safe and islamic environment, instead they are invited to camps which are mixed genders???? in what world does it make sense to put a few dozen teenagers on a campsite for a few days barely supervised. i fear for the parents who dont yet know what went down during those days😡😡😡 In fact, it doesnt even require being off campus for them to act like this. haram activites were happening at the school itself. How are we gonna be sending our kids here expecting a proper environment for them to learn real islamic values. Honestly we cant expect for the school to even value islam when the faculty themselves only care about money. I highly suggest the school please look into this and implement a more islamic environment for our young ones. until then i will not be sending my children back here, and i recommend no other parent does either.

School does not care about the students, they are only after the money. Definitely do not care about Islam, is now more of a business. If you truly care about your kids iman and education you will send them to a different school, they teach more ethics at public schools.

As a graduate of Minaret College a school which encourages students to thrive for greatness, I am definitely thankful to my parents for selecting amongst the best Islamic Schools in Victoria for me to attend. The Islamic values and teachings instilled within me since I had joined in Year 2 has allowed me to become the person I am today. The positive environment created by the students and staff creates a sense of belonging which allowed me to feel comfortable throughout my schooling years as I gained deeper knowledge into my religion whilst simultaneously studying other subjects.
