teachers are extremely unprofessional, if your child goes here there’s a 90% chance they’ll start doing drugs or vape by other students and the lack of teacher supervision. If your child ever gets in any sort of trouble, they wouldn’t have a voice for themselves & would get picked on by the head teachers. My son went there & he was a troublemaker, however anytime he was in trouble he’d tell me the head teachers all laughed at his words, yelled at him, called him stupid, & MULTIPLE of his other subject teachers said he would never get anywhere in life. Moral of the story is, this school is horrible for your child, even if they are a quiet smart child, I myself & my son seen quiet smart children get bullied & peer pressured into trying vaping, and my son told the teachers & they did not care at all. They abuse their power at Viewbank College, my son ended up graduating by he eventually got extreme depression diagnosed by the teachers & the students. It is a negative space. Don’t send your children here.

good school academically, lots of music choice. Great performing arts cente. Teachers are nice enough but uniform is strict

I have been at this school for a while, most of the teachers are nice and the education system is good, the most they can improve on is for the teachers to pay more attention to the students. Many students are nice but most of them are bullies that target the new comers, year 7 students. All the senior students make inappropriate jokes and act childishly stupid. I recommend coming to this school just to get a good degree. Thank you for reading, I experienced it all first hand. Edit: You know how I wrote the education system is good and the students were bad, yeah just reverse the roles, the saving grace was the collective suffering due to the INCOMPETENCY OF VCAA.

Honestly, I guess it could be worse? At least there’s no satanic rituals or cults here. But one of the biggest problems is that lots of kids do drugs and vape in the bathrooms. It’s gotten to the point that actual people who want to use the bathroom have to line up to use the one toilet that’s free at lunch. The teachers are alright, but some of the CRTs look like they detest kids with an passion, and will send you death stares even when you’re whispering, trying to ask someone a question about the class work. Also, the canteen prices are way too high. 5 dollars for a bottle of soft drink? A complete ripoff. The school yard is littered with trash; there’s gum on the floor, under the tables, snack wrappers everywhere, and facilities like the gym and most classrooms are in dire need of renovations.

The teachers at this school are highly biased and unfair. Me and many other students constantly feel like we are being underestimated and forced to not undertake difficult subjects. Your entire VCE can be altered by one midyear 9 report. Its actually EXTREMELY annoying how teachers just believe that they know best and prevent you from undertake challenges you know you can handle. Theres so many stupid teacher that think everyone else shares theirs level of intelligence. This school is falling off, the uniforms getting worse, Removing the spray jacket was a horrible decision. I thought's schools were surpassed to push students provide healthy challenges but this one definitely deos not do that. Also its very hypocritical when teacher talk about student bullying as if we are the problem when 90% of the bullying comes from the teachers themselves. I literally hear the teachers saying bad things behind the other ones back to students in class. Honestly the way this school has treated me really makes me wanna drop out when i originally wanted to be a high performing student.

Previously view bank college one of the best in the list of government high school but not now. As far as I know lots of good teachers moved the other school. My daughter was best in mathematics all primary school till year 8. But everything changed gradually, finally she give up mathematics subject. The economics teacher is very new and as my daughter feedback he seems not experienced as teacher. I do not enrolled her siblings in view bank college anymore.

Teachers are good except when theyre not. School is dirty and gross. Launch sucks and why is everyone so concerned with meditation? Cause of this school some guy came to our house thinking it was a vegetarian cafe. could be worse ig so 2/5 stars.

Great school if your children are gifted and above average, not so good for the average student. The bullying is not dealt with and so many promises to deal with these issues are all piss in the wind. They care more about making sure the kids wear there blazers and doing meditation rather than learning to count and spell. Horrible school for both of our children
