Best improv class I have ever done! Michael and Amy are great teachers. I had a lot of fun at the classes and me and my wife had something to look forward to every week. It was personal development kind of thing for me and the group of class mates was fantastic.

Reduscover Play with Only the Human helped me to do just that - rediscover play. Michael and Amy created such a safe and encouraging environment to play in that I was able to step out of my head and just be in the moment. I can't tell you how amazing this is. If you are a perfectionist or an over thinker, I 100% recommend this course!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Take for Professionals! I recently completed the "Rediscover Play" and "Make a Scene" improv courses with Only The Human Comedy Improv, and it was incredibly impactful. As a Business Analyst and Scrum Master, I was surprised by how much the lessons on trust, active listening, and support translated directly to the workplace. Stepping outside my comfort zone was worth it—it was a fun, empowering experience that led to significant personal growth. I highly recommend Only The Human improv courses to anyone looking to enhance their professional skills in a dynamic and fun environment.

Attending Only human has made such a positive impact on me! It’s a safe space to learn and play. My acting skills have Improved immensely and the process has been nothing but fun! It’s a place where we can let go of seriousness and it’s a place for everyone. Jay and Michael are amazing teachers that are always supportive and caring in their guidance during the rediscover play and make a scene classes. Such a warm community and excited to continue learning here!

I attended a trial improv class and it completely exceeded my expectations. Most of us, myself included, had no previous experience - but you wouldn’t have known it. The energy in the room was playful, present, and really comfortable. Chatting with the group, it was clear we all came for different reasons - some for fun, some to get better at being in front of people, some to meet new people or just to find the right improv group for them. You could easily walk away with all that and more. As a business owner, I couldn’t help but see the value of booking this as a team experience. It’s not just great for culture - it’s innovative and energizing. Big thanks to Aden and his team for creating such a welcoming space. And as a bonus, the newsletter Aden sends (not too often) is a great read - succinct and insightful. I'm usually one to unsubscribe too.

I absolutely loved my experience with Only the Human Comedy Underground! From the free introductory class to the graduation performance, the course was thoughtfully designed to guide us through all the elements needed to put on a show. Many of us started with no acting or stage experience, but the supportive and fun environment created by the friendly teachers made all the difference. The course helped reduce social anxiety, unlock creative thinking, build teamwork skills, and develop trust in our instincts. It also fostered great friendships among the students. Whether you're interested in acting or just looking for a unique and rewarding experience, this course is an amazing opportunity. Highly recommended!

I have a background in improv and theatre and signed up for their Introduction to Improv course purely for a bit of fun and was incredibly impressed - not just by the the program material - but by the wonderful, inclusive environment cultivated by our facilitators, Aden and Amy. For me, it was more of a revisit of skills I had already developed, but for others it can serve as a perfect fun and low-stress introduction to the world of improvised comedy.

I enrolled in improv classes to meet new people after moving to Perth and to explore the creative side of improv. I took the Intro and Self to Stage courses and definitely recommend them! The classes are amazing; the teachers are very prepared and supportive, even for the shyest folks. It's a wonderful, entertaining, and gentle way to spend quality time in a creative space with a lovely community. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I signed up for Intro to Improv because I heard improv classes were good for improving communication skills. The funny thing is, I had no idea what "improv" actually was. The beginner classes were a tonne of fun, and turns out I love improv! I met some amazing people and it was a safe environment to get out of my comfort zone. I learnt so much. Thanks very much Aden and Ash who ran the classes.

I did the Intro to Improv course (Level 1) and it was excellent. Aden, Jay and the OTH team have a really deep understanding of the art of improv, and they facilitated lots of different activities to help us to understand the key concepts. They also did a really great job of creating a playful, safe and inclusive environment - I don't think I've participated in a group activity that has ever been facilitated quite so well. Made a bunch of lovely new friends and had a hoot putting on a show at the end. If you've ever been curious about improv, but a bit too shy to have a crack, this is the place to go!
