I am currently studying the Advanced Diploma of Community Services at the West Australian Institute of Further Studies, and overall, I am very happy with my experience. I really enjoy studying here, especially because of our trainer, Shefali Sharma. She is very friendly, supportive, and approachable, and she has excellent knowledge of the subject. Although there are some inconsistencies in the course, her friendly teaching approach and strong understanding of the content make the learning experience very positive. The institute also has a good atmosphere and a convenient location, which is especially comfortable for international students. I am truly happy to be studying here.

I had a very positive experience studying at WAIFS. The learning environment was supportive, well-structured, and focused on helping students succeed both academically and professionally. I am especially grateful to my tutor Manpreet Kaur for her constant guidance, encouragement, and willingness to go above and beyond to support students. Her dedication made a significant difference in my learning journey. Overall, the school provides excellent student support and a welcoming atmosphere. I would confidently recommend this institution to anyone looking to further their education and achieve their goals.

The college is incredibly welcoming and supportive—from the reception staff to the instructors. I really appreciate how the campus maintains its efficiency and commitment to helping students enhance their learning. I have had a really positive experience of studying here and a big part of that is thanks to chef jean. Chef Jean is a knowledgeable and supportive trainer. He explains tasks clearly, demonstrates cooking techniques patiently, and always ensures work is done safely and to a high standard. He is a reliable and professional trainer who creates a positive learning environment. He is very hard working

I want to express my gratitude to Chef Jean for all of his help, tolerance, and advice during my Certificate IV in Kitchen Management at WAIFS. In addition to teaching me kitchen skills, Chef Jean inspired me to keep becoming better by sharing his real-life experience and enthusiasm for the field. He constantly encouraged me to try my hardest and took the time to thoroughly explain things. I am incredibly appreciative of everything he has taught me and the influence he has had to pursue my career as a chef.

I started my studies in Community services at WAIFS in August 2025. I started off with HLT33115 - Certificate III in Health Services Assistance which was taught to us by Manpreet Kaur, she is the sweetest and ensures that her method of teaching accommodates us all. She always ensured that we understood what was required in the modules that we did and never turned us down when we needed assistance with certain parts of the assignments that we did not understand, she was very patient regardless of how many times she might have had to explain something that we were struggling to understand until we eventually got it right. Her kindness, understanding and patience made a lasting impact on my studies and I will always appreciate the effort and care she shows towards each and every student in her class.

I have had a really positive experience studying my Diploma in Business, and a big part of that is thanks to Nathan. His teaching style is clear, engaging, and practical. He is always supportive, approachable, and genuinely invested in his students’ progress. Nathan’s mentoring and guidance have helped me grow both academically and professionally. He takes the time to explain concepts clearly, provides constructive feedback, and encourages confidence and independent thinking. I have also really appreciated the support from the management team, which has created a welcoming and supportive learning environment throughout my studies. I am very grateful for the guidance and encouragement I have received so far, and I would highly recommend this course and Nathan as a teacher to anyone studying business. I have completed my leadership and management course today at WAIFS with my supportive teacher K. Nathan, which I started on 18 January, 2025. So, I reach the last day of my college, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Nathan. Your guidance and support have been invaluable throughout this journey. Your passion for the subject and dedication to teaching have truly inspired us. You have a unique way of making complex topics understandable and engaging. I am thankful to the all staff member at WAIFS for always being approachable and for creating an environment where we felt comfortable to share our thoughts and questions. I have completed my leadership and management course today at WAIFS, with my trainer K Nathan, which I began on 18 January 2025. Throughout this course, I have gained valuable knowledge and insights about what it truly means to lead and manage effectively. The lessons were practical, engaging and directly applicable to real world situations. I have learned not only about leadership strategies and decision making but also about the importance of communication, teamwork, and personal growth as a leader. What made this experience even more meaningful was the way K Nathan conducted his sessions. He has a unique ability to simplify complex topics, making them easy to understand and apply. his teaching style encouraged collaboration and active participation among students, helping us connect, share ideas and learn from one another, I would also like to express my sincere thanks to all the staff at Waifs for their continuous support, guidance and dedication throughout my learning journey.

I completed my Diploma of Leadership and Management earlier this year, and it was an amazing experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. We always looked out for one another’s progress, especially with the guidance and motivation provided by our instructor, Nathan Subramaniam. The tuition fees are also flexible, which is a huge advantage for international students planning to study here, as the institution ensures payment plans are well-structured and manageable for everyone. Overall, my experience has been outstanding, and I would highly recommend this college to anyone considering studying here.
